Hey there! I'm Michele
...and I'm the creator of Rules of Ungagement. Yup, that means every single one of these stories actually happened to me in real life. When enough of your friends say, "You need to start a blog with these stories!" you start thinking maybe you should. And so I did. So here we are.

Yes, Rules of Ungagement started because of a particularly nasty end to an engagement, but I didn't want the blog to be about the breakup. I wanted it to be about what happens after the breakup. Because breakups suck (duh) but you move on. You have to. And that's when the fun begins. It's a little awkward writing about your dating life, but the more open I was about learning to be single again, the more people, women and men, were reaching out to say, "I know, right?!" I'm getting down and dirty with the truth about being single - the mistakes, the triumphs, the "oh no's" and the "oh thank god's".
I love being single... I really really really love it, but this is the first time in my life I've actually given myself the chance to find out what's so great about it. I'll admit, it sucks sometimes, but it's mostly so friggin awesome. I want to inspire other people to love their single selves by sharing the good, the bad, and the hideous tales of living the single life. We've all got stories, so let's share them!

I'm like a creative MacGyver. I see crazy huge artistic potential in the simplest, most mundane ideas and objects. I've transformed theater ensembles into street urchins, mob families, and militia using pieces found around my apartment. I've repurposed scrap materials into beautifully personal Christmas gifts. I even once made a model of a nerve cell for a last minute science project out of paper clips and Gak... and earned an A+.

Hi RofU readers! I'm Cristina and I'll be helping Michele bring you some awesome books having to do with all things chick lit, single life, and just plain fun! (Some hot book boyfriends might get thrown in the mix as well because...well...it's a proven fact that book boyfriends make the best boyfriends, in my opinion).
I'm an actress, writer, baking/cook enthusiast and self proclaimed book nerd. I run a blog called As Dreams Are Made where I post lots of fun stuff including recipes, crazy life happenings, anything to do with the writing process, and book reviews every Tuesday.
